Joyce B. Szilagyi, 51, peacefully passed on to her Lord’s care on December 8, 2006. Joyce was born in Passaoc, NJ on Nov. 9, 1955. After graduating from State College Area High School she attended South Hills Business College. Prior to moving to KC in 1998, Joyce had lived and worked in Lexington, KY, Stanford, CN and State College, PA. Joyce is survived by her loving son James (Natalie) Gentry of Los Angeles, CA; daughter Rachael Gentry of Tuscon, AZ; parents Ernest J. and Marie A. (Jaworski) Szilagyi of Wildwood, NJ; brothers Bernard (Ellen) of Wanaque, NJ, James (Marybeth) of Fairfield, CT; and sisters Judy (Peter) Neary of Easton, CT, Janet (Richard) French of Dowington, PA; partner Jerry Murphy of Kansas City; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held Easter weekend, 2007 on her favorite beach in Wildwood, NJ. May she rest in eternal peace.
