Karen Campbell

Karen Campbell, 54, passed away on the 3rd of March in Raytown, MO due to a battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held on March 27, 2010 at 11:00AM at Sheffield Family Life Center, Kansas City, MO with no visitation.  Karen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 3, 1955 to Betty and Earl Lingo.  She lived in Mississippi, North Carolina and Florida, working in the retail business.  She moved to Kansas City in the late 1970’s where she met her current husband, Bill.  She returned to Florida in 1983 where she lived for several years before her and Bill were married in 1995.  Karen and Bill returned to Kansas in 1996 with their children.  She worked for Durham School Services and Raytown Cleaners.  She was a member of Sheffield Family Life Center where she sang in the choir.  Karen was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Pam and Michelle; and one nephew, Nich Stockdale.  She is survived by her husband, Bill; sister, Sherry Taylor and husband, Scott; six children, seven grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; one great niece; one great nephew; and her very close friends, Bob Pilcher, Paddy Mercier, Jacque Cochran; and many other closed friends and loved ones.  Karen always had a smile on her face no matter how she felt.  She loved each and every one of you very, very much.
