Larry Gene Rogers 54, of Richmond, MO, Formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away July 25, 2009 at home, with his family and friends by his side.
He was born May 31, 1955, to Carl & Margaret Jean Grugin Rogers.
Larry attended Hardin-Central School.
He is survived by his son Larry Steven Rogers, known to most as, Stevie, of Grand Prairie, TX and daughter Heidi Rogers McKay of Avery, TX. Others survivors include his father of Chillicothe, MO, his 3 sisters & husbands, Diana Duncan and Harold of Richmond, Liz Waddell and Steve of Lexington and Carlene Carrillo and John of Hardin, an aunt & uncle Marjorie & Kenny Jenkins of Richmond. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2004 and his brother Lloyd in 2007.
A celebration of his life will be August 8, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Christian Fellowship Ministry in Richmond, MO. Inurnment will be done with the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defer funeral expenses.
