Please accept my deepest sympathies in your time of sorrow. Laurie was such a source of inspiration for me when I discovered my fathers cancer. Tim, Matt, Taylor & Emma: The memories I have of your momwife go back 13 years when we first moved to Columbia. She was always such a big help to me adjusting to Columbia and then taking care of Jaime and Johnny as they went through their high school years at Hickman and RockBridge. My heart is so very sad and I we cared about your Mom so much. Our hearts and prayers go out to you now and in the future. She was an amazing woman. Love, from Dawn, Jaime & Johnny Wacker

I was a soccerbasketball Mom with Laurie and knew her from back in the days in Valley View also. Her family was the most important thing to her and she loved you all dearly. She always had a warm beautiful smile that I am sure matched her heart and soul and she was always a lot of fun being around. She touched a lot of lives and we will miss her. I am so sorry for your loss.
