Leila McMillon

Leila May Baker-McMillon, 77, of Leavenworth, KS passed away May 1, 2010 after a long battle with diabetes.  Leila was born August 22, 1932 on Ft. Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of Lewis Charles Baker, 10th Calvary, US Army and Virginia Brown-Baker, housewife.  On January 12, 1961 she married Ellis McMillon.  Leila is survived by her children Ellis McMillon, Jr. and Phillis McMillon; two sisters, Beatrice Barnes and Wilberta Thornton; one brother, Harold Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis; her son, Eric McMillon; her brother, Charles Baker; and her sister, Dorothy Lyons.  Leila retired from Social Services after 23 years.  She was a member of Pentecostal Church of Apostolic Faith. There will be no funeral services, as to her wishes.  She will rest in peace at Sunset Memory Gardens.
