Mark James Smith, 45, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 2, 2004. Funeral Mass was Tuesday, September 7 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made NAMI of Kansas City and Grace Hospice. He is survived by his parents Jim and Joan Smith, brother Timothy, sisters Susan, Pamela, and Kimberly. To his family and friends, he was known to be a caring, considerate, gentle, and quiet person. His family will dearly miss him.
