Marlin Farnsworth

Mrs. Marlin E. Farnsworth, 78, of Raytown, Missouri passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center.  Marlin requested no services, but all who knew and loved her are encouraged to celebrate her life, each in their own way.Marlin was born June 9, 1930, in Grandview, MO.  She left high school early, to work, but returned to earn her G.E.D. in 1977, at age 47.  Marlin and Walter were married April 19, 1947, and recently celebrated their 62nd anniversary.  Walt and Marlin enjoyed doing word puzzles, and Walt admired her spelling abilities.  Marlin’s passion in life was taking care of others.  She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  All who knew her felt lucky to have her in their lives, and she will remain in our hearts forever.   Marlin lived in the Kansas City area all of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Olive and Floretta Easton; and sister, Mildred Brocato. Marlin is survived by: her husband, Walter Farnsworth; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Martin Hugo, and their son and his girlfriend, Adam Hugo and Tiffany Lovett; her son and his girlfriend, Tom Farnsworth and Irene Moore; her daughter-in-law, Peggy Farnsworth; her sister, Melba Grego, and her sons and daughter; her brother and sister- in-law, James and Vicki McCraw, and their son; and her dear friends Mildred Hardison and Bob Ford, Art and Louise Timson and Mildred Cooper.  She will be deeply missed.
