Marvine Stroff, age 91, family of Excelsior Springs, MO & Prairie Village, KS, passed away on July 9, 2003 at her home. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church in Excelsior Springs. Marvine was born December 4, 1912 in Excelsior Springs, MO, the daughter of Dr. Marvin & Annie Rowe. She was a life long area resident. She married Ray De Masters in 1939. To this union a daughter Mollie Anne was born. In 1949 she married Dr. Stanley Stroff and a son David was born. She loved to travel and collect antiques, but was also content to stay at home, sew, garden, and create floral arrangements with beads. She was a member of the Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church, a church circle, PEO, the Harmony Study Club and the VA Wives Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stanley Stroff. Survivors include daughter, Millie Anne Stroff and son, David Stroff, both of Prairie Village, KS; sister, Ida Margaret Clemons, Excelsior Springs, MO. She leaves many friends who remember her sweet spirit and disposition. Memorial contributions to the family may be sent to Heartland Cremation, Raytown, MO.
