Mercy Bardwell, 73, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2005, losing a battle with cancer. A memorial of Mercy’s life will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133, on Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Friends and family may call from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Service will begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Kansas City Hospice. Mercy was born on September 24, 1931 to Salvador and Ignacia (Gonzalez) Villa in Kansas City, KS. She made the Kansas City area home her entire life. She is survived by her husband George W. Bardwell, they were married on March 10, 1951. Mercy was preceded in death by her brother, Salvador (Junior/Honey) Villa. She is also survived by three sons and two daughters, John, Michael, Benjamin, Luciana, and Linda in addition to five sisters, Catalina Lopez, Juanita Vaca, Agnes Jimenez, Concepcion Murillo, Gabriela Carrillo and one brother Nieves Villa, as well as 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Please join us in celebrating her life and final journey.

He y Lucy I googled yo u. Was just wondering about yo u and your family. 12 years too late but so sorry about yo u losing your mom. I have fond memories of her. She always called me Maria
