Orpha, or as I liked to call her, Grandma, passed too soon. She taught me how to tie my shoelaces and baked me cookies, on my birthdays, to share with classmates as I was growing up. More than than that, she made me feel special and loved. Orpha was a “one in a million” human being. Her departure from this world will have a permanent impact. She loved and loved hard, she was a passionate person and fiercely protective of those she cared about. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. To my sweet grandma, I love you. Your memory will never be lost, these days are still difficult to endure without your sweet presence. I love you my grandma!
