Robert E. Hays, 71, Overland Park, Kan., passed away January 27, 2008. Robert was born in Vinita, Okla., on May 22, 1936, to Rutherford Austin Hays and Hazel Augusta Hays. He leaves behind his daughter, Michelle Hays Anderson; and his only granddaughter, Gabrielle Anderson. Robert and his daughter enjoyed playing golf together along with his attempts at teaching his granddaughter the fundamentals of the game. Services will be held in Vinita at a later date.
