Bob Thomas, 93, Independence, MO, formerly, St. Joseph, MO passed away April 20, 2006. A Memorial Service 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 at The Groves, Independence, MO. Bob was born November 8, 1912 in Faucett, MO. He owned three grocery stores in St. Joseph and Pickering, MO and owned a Pepperidge Farm Distributorship in the Independence and Raytown areas. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marian and John Miller, Brookfield, CT; daughter Katie Sharp Tracy, KCMO; sisters, Virginia McFadden, San Jose, CA and Marie Haynie, Boulder, CO; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
