Rose Bucha

Rose Marie Bucha, 93, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on March 19, 2010, at the Kansas City Hospice House, KCMO. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Barney A. Bucha; and her brother, Ted Arch. She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie Werner (Larry) of IL, Barbara Seymour (Don) of KS, and Mary Lou Nance (Mel) of IN; her grandchildren, Kelly Behrends (Jon), Scott Seymour (Karen), Marchelle Djordjevic (Mark), Kris Seymour (Angie), Heather Nance, Jessica Rose Nance, Ericka Nance, First Lieutenant John Nance; and her great grandchildren, Tyne, Tait, Trinity, and Flint Seymour. Rose was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and was a compassionate, loving friend and person. She was a lifelong auxiliary member of the VFW, and was a member of the Church of the Nativity. Rose touched so many lives and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Tribute will be held March 28, at 2 p.m. at Silvercrest at Deercreek, Overland Park, KS. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. John, IN, with interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN, on July 10. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rose’s name may be made to KC Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., KCMO 64145.
