    To Lori and family, I was so saddened to hear about Scott. Even though I had lost touch with him over the years, he always held a special place in my heart. A girl never forgets the first love of her life and that was Scott for me.

    I am so very sorry for your loss and wish that there was something I could do to ease the pain that you all must be feeling at this time.

    Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and my prayers and that I do believe God meets us where we’re at and I believe that Scott is at peace now and is sitting with Steve, your Mom and Jesus right now. I pray that you have some peace in knowing and believing in that.

    LeeAnn

    There are no words anyone can say to make things better or easier. I have said prayers for you all and hold you all close to my heart. Scott is free from his pain and will live in the memories of us all. Good or bad he has taught something to each and every one of us. He could make you laugh at the littlest stupid stuff, and he could make you cry. He had wonderful artistic talents that he rarely shared. He will never be gone as long as we keep these things in our hearts and minds.

May Scott find the brother he lost a few years ago. My heart goes out to you Lori, Kathy and Lisa. Scott, Da is up there waiting for you. Janie

    I had to make another post realizing that Scott would expect this from me! I love you too, always this way, or someway!
    Love be still, love be sweet
    Don’t you dare change a thing
    I want to photograph you with my mind
    To feel how I feel now…all the time

    Say that you’ll stay forever this way
    Forever and forever that we’ll never have to change
    Don’t move, don’t breathe
    Don’t change, don’t leave
    And promise me
    Say you’ll stay
    Oh, we’ll stay this Way

    I get afraid
    I don’t think*ahead
    Let’s just stay this way in bed
    Feels so good inside your arms
    Home is everywhere that you are

    (Chorus)

    Voice over here:
    Don’t move don’t breathe
    Don’t change don’t leave
    Promise me we’ll always be
    The sky ’s so sweet
    It’s good to me
    Promise me we’ll always be

  24. Angela Swims on January 1, 1900 at 12:00 am

    Scott was my very first true love. I was 18 and he was 21. Scott was in the military service then and was the most handsome, caring, romantic man I had ever met. I loved him dearly. We were engaged at one time but it never came to fruiton. Through time we lost and found each other again several times, but I guess we were just not meant to be; it broke my heart.

    All of his troubles are now over and I hope, that for once, he is at peace, even though, once again I feel my heart break. I am so sorry that this world was not kinder to him and that time was not on his side.

    I will always hold a special place in my heart for this man. I will remember the times that we had and the love that we shared. I will miss him until my dying day and I will love him eternally.

    Kathy and Lori this is for you; in rememberance of your brother:

    I will no longer answer the tolling bell of the ignorance that surrounds me
    I will no longer allow the shallow water on the darkened shore to ground me;

    I will, instead, seek the music of the soul that is called living
    and know each day is an even measure of taking and of giving;

    Tomorrow I hope to find the sun shining brightly upon my face
    and those I love around me, safe within this place;

    I pray I will find some peace and understanding as I go
    caring and sharing the breath of hope even though I know;

    there will be days, long days, when I will not see the light
    days that feel as though they are, indeed, eternal night;

    I will accept the strength of those who are so selflessly willing to share
    having this gift, mayhap, I will find my burden a bit easier to bear;

    I will walk the road of pain with you and share my borrowed grace
    Just to believe, that tomorrow, we may feel the sun shine on our face.

    Blessings,
    Angie
