Stanley Webb

Stanley Brian Webb, 53, Kansas City, KS passed away September 26, 2008 at Kansas City Hospice House.  Stanley was born December 27, 1954 in Kansas City, MO from the union of Clyde A. Webb and Ada Cooper Webb, who preceded him in death.

Stanley accepted Christ as a teenager and was a member of Sheffield Family Life Center. 

He attended school in the Kansas City Missouri School District and graduated from Southeast High School.  He also attended Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL and Penn Valley Community College where he studied photography.  He also had a passion for classic jazz music.

He served in the United States Air Force and later became a security officer working for several security agencies.  His last post was for Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. on the Sprint Campus in Overland Park.  He served his clients with a spirit of excellence and integrity.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shelia Denise Webb; his children Kycheia Nicole Webb and Brian DaShon Webb; a host of grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Jones and Brenda Blake; two brothers, Clyde A. Webb, Jr. (Gwen) and Barry Craig Webb; a special aunt Bobbie Johnson (Larnell); as well as other aunts and uncles; father and mother-in-law, Melvin Evans (Ernestine); brother and sister-in-law, Michael Greenfield (Janet); brother -in-law, Gregory Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    Even though I never got a chance to meet his family in person please know he talked about his wife, children, and grand children so much in our conversations that I feel I know you all….take comfort in knowing he is at peace now and will hurt no more…We will all miss him and I will cherish his memory.
