Ted Boyd

Ted Boyd, 48, Independence, MO passed away February 4, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center.  Ted was an Independence resident for more than 35 years.  Ted graduated from William Chrisman in 1979, and in 1993 from Park University.  He was a deacon, and was very active in his church, New Hope RLDS of Independence.  Ted enjoyed writing, magic, and vertriloquism.  He leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Kay; parents, Theo and Donna Boyd;  and a sister, Viki Boyd, all of Independence.  Also surviving Ted are a niece, Jesse Gallagher and her husband Eric of Kansas City, MO; a nephew, Josh Stoll and his wife Jen of Blue Springs, MO; and Ted’s grandfather, L.R. Clark of Oklahoma.  A memorial service is planned for 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at New Hope RLDS Church (Community of Christ), 220 W. Moore St, Independence, MO 64050.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to The New Hope Needy Family Fund, and can be mailed to the church.
