    Tom was a wonderful Son and Brother to us all– and want to say THANKS SO MUCH to all the beautiful “memories” brought back to us, in reading the wonderful memorable statements, given by all of your relatives and friends. We do miss him so much, but know he is in a better Place than you and I are in.
    He and his Dad are missed a lot and our continued Prayers go up to God in THANKS for all of the Blessings HE haa GIVEN US AS A FAMILY..
    Also, THANKS to you, Tom, for doing the work and job the Lord had planned for you to do. You helped a lot of people and putting them on the “right path” in their problems, when necessary. THANKS FOR BEING SO KIND AND THOUGHTFUL OF ME, TOM. IT WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED.
    MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND KNOW THAT THE LORD IS WITH YOU NOW AND FOREVER MORE. SOME DAY WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN – I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.
    IN GOD WE TRUST- THANKS BE TO GOD FOR HIS LOVE AND BLESSINGS;
    MOM HARLESS

    Our deeply Condolences. See poem my father wrote to me prior to passing:
    Miss me, but let me go
    When I come to the end of the road, and sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free.
    Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared, miss me, but let me go.
    For this is a journey that we must take, and each must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, a step on the road home.
    When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, miss me, but let me go.

    God Bless you!

    To the Harless family ;
    Tom has been called home to his father our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Tom is starting his new job at God’s right hand, and that is to help God watch over his flock, by day and by night. He will always be in our hearts and minds.

  8. Diane, on January 1, 1900 at 12:00 am

    We, the offspring of Mike and Dolly Spencer, want to extend our most sincere sympathy to the Harless family. Don and Agie were close to us as we grew up. Agie still keeps in touch with us. Having lost our oldest brother, Jim, when he was 34, to bone cancer; our mother in 2004; our father in 2005, we can recall well the grief of losing someone you love. The family wanted to let you know that Tom’s family is in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless. The Spencer Family, and Blanche Eschenbach

    Agnes, Marlene & family, Holly & family, Diane & family & Tom’s family,
    May God bless you all and help you find peace and comfort in your time of sorrow and loss.
    Such good times we all use to have at those old Harless Family Reunions! So many memories of good times to sustain us. How lucky we are to have the strength of family to provide us with those memories so we can remember the good times in life and hold on to them. Tom will truly be missed!
    Love and God’s Peace and Blessings to you all; May He wipe away all of your tears. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  31. Diane on January 1, 1900 at 12:00 am

    I am so proud and grateful to have you as my ?favorite? one and only brother! You will always be remembered and so will all you have given and done unselfishly for many others. I love your excellent sense of humor, cool & rather unique expressions which brought lots of joy and laughter! I?m so grateful just for you and your amazing spirit, let alone all your talents, like endless kindness, great story telling, talking like time is standing still, genuinely caring, and never rushed. Sharing coffee including wherever and whatever food was around, breakfast, donuts, pie, Wisconsin cheese & sausage or cold pizza with me in mom?s kitchen at 10 in the morning. No one is ever a stranger to you because you make friends with everyone. I think all the waitresses in Kansas City know you!Thanks for being so loving and restoring my faith in the goodness of life and belief that some men are okay. I love and respect your loyal patriotism, riding on your Harley with you, and for taking the freedom and courage to speak the truth while living your life one day at a time with strength, faith, dignity, liberty, peace, and unconditional love for all. You truly took a stand for all the things that God wants us to be and do with our blessing of life and our lit candle. When you left on your Harley, you left so much love and strength with us. Thank you! Remember Peach Pie? Your memory makes people smile not just with their face, but in their hearts, because a big heart like yours easily touches so many other hearts! Thank you for the honor of loving you!

    Tom,
    Your good work will continue….
    “I spent a great deal of time passing on what I learned to others who want and need it badly. I do it for four reasons:
    1. Sense of duty.
    2. It is a pleasure
    3. Because in so doing I am paying my debt to the man who took time to pass it on to me.
    4. Because every time I do it I take out a little more insurance for myself against a possible slip.?
