Vicki Mercer

Verona ?Vicki? Mercer, age 65, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at her home. She was born September 24, 1941, in Dry Prong, Louisiana, a daughter of Winfred and Neva (Beebe) Slayter. She married Ken Mercer, September 3, 1960. Vicki, a realtor and 1984 Lincoln University graduate is survived by her husband; two daughters, Alison Mercer Hall and husband Scott of Bonner Springs, Kansas and Carol Mercer of Denton, Texas; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Grace Hall; her mother, Neva Slayter Webb; two sisters, Flora Spann and husband Harry and Phyllis Edwards and husband James. A Remembrance Gathering, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007 from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, Jefferson City. There will be a brief memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Bastrop, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, share with us your special memory, joyful, funny, meaningful experience of how Vicki has influenced you or your family.
