Alexander Christopher Green

Alexander Christopher Green, 17, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away, November 22, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on December 2, 2021 at Abundant Life, 304 SW Persels Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. Visitation will be held from 9:30am – 11:00am.

Alexander was born September 3, 2004 in Overland Park, Kansas. He spent most of his childhood in Peculiar, MO and then moved to Lee’s Summit, MO. Alex attended Lee’s Summit High School. He enjoyed fishing, theater, choir, and gaming. Alex had such a giving, caring, and loving heart. He loved his family and friends very much. Alex enjoyed working on his car with his dad. He aspired to follow his fathers footsteps in HVAC and electrical work. Alex will be missed by many and never forgotten.

Alexander is a hero. He was a proud organ donor and was able to save many lives.

He was preceded in death by: great-grandparents, Harold and Virginia Smith; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Ragusa; great-grandparents, Tom and Norma Brown; aunt, Jennifer McIlvaine; and great-uncle, Stephen Green.

Survivors include: parents, Christopher and Andrea Green; brothers, Andrew and Aiden Green; grandparents, Dan and Sue Smith; grandparents, Paul Green and Tanis Clayton; uncles, Danny (Amy) Smith and Brandon (Stephanie) Green; cousins, Jared Smith, Shauna Ham, and Brayden Green; and countless family and friends.

    Alex and i became friends about a week or so before the Chiefs super bowl parade, in fact we watched the super bowl together.. we got really close in a short amount of time and i was lucky to have met Alex and have the privilege to call him a friend.. it still breaks my heart that he is no longer with us and i know if my heart is still hurting over this i can only imagine how his family is dealing with this, Alex will forever be loved and missed. Rest in peace my dear friend??
