Anna M. (Riley) Liddle

Anna M (Riley) Liddle, 87 passed away April 9, 2015 at St. Mary’s Manor in Blue Springs, Missouri.  A visitation will be held 11:00AM-12:30PM, Monday, April 20, 2015 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri.  Graveside services will follow at 1:00PM at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Crossroads Hospice.

Anna was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri as an only child to Marvin L. & Marie Brown.  She married John Riley in 1947 and from that union was blessed with three children; Jim, Kathy, and Susan.  Anna worked as a switchboard operator for many years, and retired from Park Lane Hospital in 1994.  She loved her cabin in the Ozarks while spending time with her family, and friends; boat riding, swimming, skiing and fishing.  At home she enjoyed various hobbies such as quilting, card games, working in her yard and walking with her dog, Haley.  She enjoyed many family gatherings, and spending time with her children, and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by; mother and father, Marvin L. and Marie Brown; husbands, John Riley and Jack Liddle.  Anna is survived by; son, Jim; daughters, Kathy (Lee), and Susan (Richard); five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

    We were saddened to read of Anna passing away. Anna, you, Kathy, and Susan were so nice to mom, Charlie and I. We still miss our visits and lunches together.
