She experienced a stroke that left her partially paralyzed, but it didn’t keep her from enjoying life and being a great friend. She loved games like Bingo and any games that helped her keep her mind sharp and strong. Planning picnics with family and her best friend, Karen Davis, that always included fried chicken. She learned many gospel songs and to play the piano with only one hand. Her place of heaven on earth was the beach. She thought donuts and chocolate should be part of the food groups, both sweet but nothing like her. Barbara Jean had a heart that was giving and so tender.
