I’m sorry to hear about Betty Burgess. I wanted to give my condolences to the family. I as well have lost many friends and family that were close to me and know it’s very hard. I find comfort in John 5:28,29, It says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” This is very comforting for me, and gives us hope to see the ones we love again. I hope this gives you as much hope and comfort it has me.
If you have a child or teenager who has epenriexced the death of someone close to them, this is a great book to help you help them. It is divided into three parts; death and feelings, funerals and cemeteries, and cremation. It is well-written with complex concepts clearly defined. As a program director at a local center for grieving children, I often recommended this book to parents and caregivers who are struggling to find the right words to help the mourning children in their lives. How many of us feel comfortable talking about funerals or cremation? This book helps to give meaning and understanding to one of the toughest of subjects; death and dying. Reading this book will help bereaved children, teens and the adults who care for them. I highly recommend it!
was she a school principal?
