Beverly A. Shadwick, 77, of Boonville, Missouri passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, December 9, 2021 at home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Beverly A. Shadwick was born April 25, 1944, the daughter of Walter and Leona Johns. Beverly worked as a CNA most of her adult life in many of the local nursing homes. Beverly enjoyed bird watching, watching cooking shows on the television, spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching Cardinal baseball, but most of all she enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball. Beverly also loved cooking for her “ARMY”.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Leona Johns, her brothers Ricky Johns, Corky Johns, and Billy Johns, all of Salem Missouri, her sisters Judy Johns of Salem, Missouri and Maxine Bolen of Middletown, Missouri, a granddaughter Tera Ashpaugh, and her grandsons Bobby Johns, Bryan Ralston and Shane Ashpaugh. Beverly is survived by her children Debbie Lastinger of Boonville, Elizabeth Decker of Franklin, Billy (Angie) Skaggs of New Franklin, Michele Nelms of Boonville, Randy (Tammy) Shadwick of Boonville, Susan Hulbert of Fountain, Colorado, Belinda (Jerry) Fisher of Boonville, Dana (David) Duenow of Boonville, and Chad (Amy) Shadwick of Bunceton, 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren with one on the way, and many nieces and nephews. Beverly will be missed most for her witty responses and silly shenanigans by all who loved her.
