Beverly Ann Nichols, 60, of Jefferson City, passed away August 6, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. Beverly was born July 11, 1947, to Wilfred and Dorothy (Peanick) Owens. Beverly is survived by her mother of Ellington, Mo.; three sons, Scott Owens of Jefferson City, Albert Meidel of Oklahoma, and Joseph Meidel of Texas; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at the Portland Community Center, Portland, Mo., from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. August 18, 2007.

    My condolences to my cousins for the loss of their mother my aunt Beverly whom I never really got to know with the family issues between her and my mom. From what I do remember she s always been kind to me and she did always seem sad also.:( I’m sorry that I didn’t make a better effort aunt bev and my prayers go out to all of you boys.
