Bonnie Lou Brackett, 70, of Independence, Missouri passed away March 26, 2021 after a short battle with lung cancer.
Bonnie was born on May 9, 1950 in Sedalia, MO to Earl and Betty Bergman. She was the oldest of four siblings.
Bonnie attended William Chrisman and graduated from Truman High School. Early in the 1970’s she moved to St. Petersburg, FL. A place that she loved dearly from childhood vacations with her family. She loved walking along the beaches collecting shells and basking in the beautiful sunsets. Bonnie also enjoyed traveling which included Europe, Mexico, and the Bahamas. Bonnie returned to Missouri with her beloved son Aaron to start a new life with family and friends. She worked many years tending bar and hotel and restaurant business.
Bonnie will be missed for her unconditional love, generous spirit and 100 watt smile.
Bonnie was proceeded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Aaron Brackett of Independence, MO; brother, Dan Bergman of Kansas City; sisters, Sarah Reading (Court) of Anchorage, AK and Nancy Jobe (Brad) of Chilhowee, MO; four grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Sorry to hear about Bonnie she always had me laughing about something or another. Our prayers for Aaron and family.
Very sorry to read about Bonnie’s passing. Although I had not seen Bonnie for many years I remember Bonnie from as early as kindergarten. We were good friends from back in those days.
So sorry to hear of Bonnie’s fight with cancer and her passing. I haven’t seen her in years but do remember many good times during our yearly visits to Sedalia when we were growing up.
