Carol L. Rice, 72, of New Bloomfield passed away December 11, 2009.  Carol was born on June 29, 1937 in Waukegan, Illinois to Emil and Elsie (Bracher) DeMeyer. She is survived by one son, Donald E. Maglio Jr. of Pocatello, ID; two brothers, Donald J. and Charles Jimmy DeMeyer of New Bloomfield; two sisters, Sharon Cheslik and husband Scott, of Muncie, IN and Susan Ponder of Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as Donna Felsheim who cared for Carol for many years.
