Cary Davis, 67, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away on November 12, 2025.
Cary was born on July 8, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a devoted mother, sister, and “Gamma,” whose greatest joy came from her family. Her two granddaughters, Brynlie and Harper, were the light of her life. Cary also had a deep love for animals—she cared for many pets throughout her life and was a passionate supporter of animal rescue efforts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carrol Davis, and her mother, Rita Nadine Davis.
Cary is survived by her son, Adam Witt; her daughter, Kellie Arnold, and husband Brett; her cherished granddaughters, Brynlie and Harper Arnold; her sister, Rita McKillip; her brother-in-law, Allen McKillip; her nephew, Devin McKillip; and Jan Baumann. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held early next year and details shared once we have all details finalized.
In honor of Cary’s lifelong love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. https://www.pawsitivetailskc.org/
