Charlotte A. (Havner) Lane, 75, of Holt, MO, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family on September 10, 2022. Charlotte was born September 10, 1947, in Bauxite, Arkansas, the daughter of Odell and Maudie (Markel) Havner.
Charlotte retired from Ball Container, formerly Reynold’s Aluminum Can Plant, as a machine operator. She was such a hard worker, and she instilled those ethics into her children. She loved sewing and made beautiful, creative clothes and toys for her children and grandchildren. She loved reading, working puzzles, word games and trivia games. She enjoyed a friendly competition. Charlotte led a quiet life, watching her birds and other wildlife wander through her property. She loved spending time with her loving husband and hanging out with her dear sister. She was a selfless person who always put others before herself.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, Charlene, and her brother-in-law, Tony Anthony.
She is survived by Rick, her devoted husband of almost 41 years, who lovingly tended to her needs through her long illness with help from family. She is also survived by her children: Sheila (Monahan) Kirwan and partner Andy Lipari, Sheri (Monahan) Ball and husband John, Darren Monahan and wife Karrie, and Reagan Lane. In addition, her grandchildren: Charlotte and Jake, Sean and Katie, Megan and Makayla, Grace and Elijah, and great granddaughters, Sophia and Holly. She is also survived by her loving sister, Deana (Havner) Anthony, brother Ray and wife Linda, nieces: Nikki and Melissa and great-nieces: Ella and Lily and Macy, Scarlett and Eleanor.
Family would like to thank Kindred Hospice of Independence for the great support and care they provided.
Family followed Charlotte’s wishes to not have funeral services.
