Cheryl Diane Heller

Cheryl Diane Heller, 63, of Grandview, MO passed away December 1, 2022. Memorial service will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm on January 7, 2022 with celebration of life to follow with food at Elks 2088 Lodge, 13600 Arrington Rd Grandview, MO 64030, 816-761-8990.

Cheryl was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, having graduated from Olathe High School. She was known for her love of music and her beautiful voice. She laughed easily, and had a snappy sense of humor. Cheryl took great pride in teaching her girls to be active in their community, and could often be found front row at ball games, band competitions, and choir concerts. She taught her daughters to be strong women.

When Cheryl met Tom, her girls were thrilled to welcome him and his family. Together Cheryl and Tom had 9 grandchildren, and again could often be found front row at ball games, competitions, school plays, and recitals.

Cheryl was Mom, Sunshine, Crazy, Oma, and Mimi. Her family loved her so much that they couldn’t contain all of their love with just one name. She taught them all that life is a song to sing.

She was preceded in death by: father, Allen Lewis; mother and stepfather, Shirley and James Cunningham; sister, Lora McCollum; brothers, Clayton Lewis and Bryan Lewis.

Survivors include:brother, Greg Lewis; husband, Tom Heller; children, Mallory Harman, Megan Chiodo, Rachelle Horan, Randy Singleton, and Kristina Heller; grandchildren, Kaylee, Kara, Skylar, Lydia, Piper, Avery, Brynlee, Kinsley, and Hadley.
