Cheryl Fabulae, 59, Of Kansas City, MO was called home on August 7th, 2022, with her loving husband of 40+ years by her side. Cheryl was born July 16th and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at a young age and had a long career as an RN for 25+ years. Cheryl met the love of her life, Mike, in Ottumwa, Iowa and they married on October 6th, 1984. They had two Sons, Jeff in 1981 and Matt in 1989. Cheryl loved her sons more than anything. In 2005, Cheryl’s Grandson Alex was born (Jeff’s son). Cheryl loved Alex and was so proud of all that he has accomplished.
Cheryl seemed to make friends everywhere she went – even making lifelong friends at the local Grocery Store. On Sundays, she would invite over friends & family for barbeques. She would always say “If you go hungry in my house, it’s your own fault!” She especially loved riding the Harley with Mike and going on motorcycle trips. Cheryl also had a dog, Maggie, whom she adored. Cheryl made a lasting impact on the lives of many. Although she is gone from this world, her memory lives on in the hearts of all she touched.

I will never forget you. You were always a second Mom to me. From going shopping to just coming over to help you fix your phone because you hit random buttons. I will forever cherish the time we had together. I will see you on the other side.
We love you forever – Kim & Jeff <3
Cheryl was my sister-in-law, she will be so missed by many, especially my brother, Mike. They grew up together and were there for each other through the good times and not so good.
We always had fun times together even if they were very few. Because we live on the west coast. Cheryl was easy to talk to and be around. I will cherish the times spent together and will always be sad for not having more time to share.
Rest in peace dear one. You are in the loving arms of the Lord. You are now healed, strong and forever loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
