Christopher Raymond Avila

It is with heavy hearts that we lay to rest on this day, Christopher Raymond Avila, a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Christopher was born on August 10, 2006. He grew up in a close-knit family where he learned the value of kindness, compassion, and hard work. He was looking forward to finishing his senior year of high school and to becoming an independent young man.
Sadly, at just 18 years old, Christopher left this world on October 24, 2024, into the arms of the Lord.
He is proceeded in heaven by his great grandfather Tommy Reyes; grandmother Edelina Rebecca Garcia; aunt Valerie Estrada and uncle Shaun Estrada.
He is survived by his mother Natalie Garcia; brothers Anthony Garcia and Adrian Olivas; eight aunts; one uncle and 20 cousins, who all dearly adored him.
Leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him. Known for his infectious smile and kind spirit, Christopher was a bright light in the lives of all who crossed his path. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of love and positivity will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to have known him.
Visitation will be 2pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3pm, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri 64133.
Rest in peace, Christopher. This is not goodbye but until we meet again.
John 14: 1-3
Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? [3] And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
