Cinderella Johnson, 81, of Springfield, Missouri passed away peacefully on March 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Cinderella was affectionately known by most as “Cindy.” She was born in Blytheville, Arkansas and married James Daniel Johnson, November 14th, 1959. They had four children, Timotheus Johnson, Teresa (Johnson) Brandon, Juanita Johnson, and Catherine (Johnson) Berry- Miller. They later moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she raised her family. Cinderella lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Jefferson City, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, listening to music, watching her stories, and most of all being with family. Cindy was the devoted matriarch to the family and made so many residents smile while working as a Certified Medication Assistant. Her friends and family will truly miss her beautiful flower garden, her fabulous meals, and her friendly smile.
Cinderella will be dearly missed and always remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father, Estella and John Jones, sisters Nettie Mae Ayers Chalmers and Mary Alice Jones, Brothers John Henry Barnes and Robert Lucas and grandson, Quentin Berry. She is survived by her children, granddaughters Lamesha Johnson, Tyreka (Brandon) Smith, Tamesha Johnson-Goodwin, and Alexandra Johnson, grandson Torrance Brandon and great grandson Isaiah Brandon as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and longtime friends. We request for all of Cinderella’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on Friday March 18th, 2022 at 4pm. The Celebration will be virtual. So sorry to hear of Cinderella’s passing, it is especially difficult to lose a grandmother and such a special person. She was such a beautiful and sweet lady. I will always remember her kindness, smile, and chuckle. She will be greatly missed. Wishing you all much comfort and peace during this difficult time, sending our thoughts and prayers your way. God Bless.
It was a great honor and pleasure meeting and knowing your mother.
She made me feel special from the first time I met her.
She had a gift of enjoying life’s simple pleasures but also sharing those pleasures with you. The time I was honored to share with her will always be special to me.
The love she had for each member of her family was wonderful to see. Her smile lit up the room.
I know it will be hard adjusting to her not being here in person but her spirit is shown in each of you.
I can see the gifts she gave each of you (love and caring for others) leaving a lasting effect of many more people.
My deepest condolences to the family. Teresa lives a purpose-driven life inspired by her purpose-driven mother. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers to Juanita, Tamesha and all the Johnson Family. What a beautiful lady and beautiful life and blessings abound for you each to cherish forever in your hearts. You each remain in our thoughts and prayers. God’s peace to all.
