Corinthian James Franklin

Corinthian James Franklin, 7, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away October 11, 2021 at Children’s Mercy Hospital, from Leukemia. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 15700 W 87th St Parkway, Lenexa, Kansas. Corinthian was born February 6, 2014 in Overland Park, Kansas. 

Corinthian is a beautiful, strong, fun loving and witty boy who has battled cancer since he was 2 years old. Despite all of the obstacles he was given, he never stopped giving all he had to love and laugh while finding all of the good in the world. Cj loved to include everyone in all that he did and never once complained despite going through pain most grown men have not experienced. His smile could light up a room and his energy will live on forever.   

Corinthian is survived by his mother, Ashley K Sleppy, father, W. Michael Franklin, siblings Micaiah and Aveya Franklin, and unborn baby sister Abriella Sleppy- Davis.

    Ash! I am so sorry for your loss!! That sweet boy was so blessed to have you as a mama! My cousin passed away at 15 from leukemia 10 years ago this past October 14. My heart is so broken for you! I watched my aunt fall all the way apart that part in that hospital room! I will not stop praying for you!
