David was born July 13, 1998 in Merriam, KS to Jerrid and Leslie. David completed his general education in 2015 through the Kansas City Kansas Community College and afterwards attended Johnson County Community College for their Automotive Program. He worked as a carpenter under Jerrid’s company, Sunshine Deck-n-Fence. He also made music under a label he created with his best friends, Black Sheep Mafia.
David was always a force to be reckoned with. He was so fun and was an avid practitioner of “hooliganism”, finding the most daring and unimaginable adventures with his friends. He was so enthusiastic about life; he poured his love and positivity into every soul he met on his journey. He was the perfect embodiment of what it means to be a good son, friend, partner and father. All he wanted was to spread love and change the world. Which that, he did.
David leaves his father, Jerrid Cink, and step-mother, Kelsie Cason; and mother, Leslie Cink (Hall); his wife, Shea Cink (Carney); a son, Sage Anthony Cink; siblings, Edie, Jaidyn, Katalina and Phenix; his great grandmother Claudia Anderson; grandparents, Laurie and David Cink, Pamela Oldham, Roger Hall; aunts and uncles: Jill Hoag, Brandie (Eric) Burckhard, Amy (Kyle) Pickett, Corey (Jessica) Cink, Anthony (Lindsay) Hall, Kris (Roger) Wolff, Tim (Lenora) Anderson; cousins, Holly Flateau, Alex Gonzalez, Sam Wolff, Salem Baldwin, Dallas Hall, McKenna Hall, Maisey Cink and Mylo Cink; as well as Shea’s family and his Black Sheep brothers: Cameron Marek, Chase Wilburn, Matthew Fullington and Lakota Nibarger-Zinna.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Myles Anderson, Mildred and Loyd Oldham, Victor (Betty) Cink; aunt and uncle, Vance Cink and Peggy Oldham; our good friend, John Maness as well as his childhood pets Lillie Bean, Golly (Goliath) and Razzie.
David loved going to shows and raves, in honor of this, if you would like to bring a bracelet that will be cremated with him to his Celebration of Life please do so. We will have rubber bracelets in David’s memory for this last trade.
For friends who cannot make it on Monday, there will be a party (21+) to be announced at a later date to celebrate his wild years.
Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and well wishes while they grieve and process this heartbreaking loss.
I never got to actually hang out with David but i wanted to real bad. We talked pretty regularly through messenger for a while. We talked about life, love, learning to be positive and overcome, a worl we both invisioned where people were more understanding and loved more genuinely. We shared our art with eachother and I was supposed to do a drawing for him. Im still gonna do that and wherever the momentos go, ill put that drawing there when its finished. He was an inspiration to me, the way he battled cancer and maintained his spirit through it all, focussing on his family and putting health and wisdom before all the painhe had to endure. Im genuinely sad to know that hes not in this plane of existence anymore.
Leslie and family– our family sends our condolences for the loss of your beautiful son.
We pray that God gives you strength during this difficult time.
With love- Brenda, David Albiar and family
