Denise Howard, 65, passed away August 29, 2021 in Kansas City, MO.
Denise was born in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Annie Dunbar on January 19, 1956.During her high school years, she met the love of her life John Howard. Denise and John joined their lives together on December 21, 1977 and went on the have two adoring children.
She pursued many passions throughout her life such as becoming certified in Medical Coding and Billing and Dental Assisting. She enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with loved ones. Denise relocated from Detroit to Kansas City in 2006 where she joined the Walmart team and remained a loyal associate for 16 years, right up to her homegoing. Denise was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who deeply loved her family and friends. Her smile brightened the room, and you could count on walking away from your encounter with her feeling light-hearted and happier than you were.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annie; two sisters, Beverly and Pamela and a brother, Charlie.
She leaves to cherish her son, Kamal, (Kahondria); daughter, Ebony, (James II); four grandchildren: Knaviyah, Kiziyah, James III, and E’Lynn; four siblings: Joseph, Vanessa, John and Jackie; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
