Don Burns, 84, KCMO, died April 21 after long illness. Service will be 1pm, Fri, April 26 at Gladstone Community Church, KCMO. Don was born June 15, 1928 in Pratt, Kan. A passion for children, he was a pastor, teacher, principal, worked with troubled teens in Chicago & Hollywood; helped start over 125 Christian schools.
Wife Ryland, parents George & Alice, brother James D. preceeded in death. Surviving: sister Betty Beaty, children Alan, Rhonda, Frank, dinlaw Beth, sinlaw Ara & binlaw Tom, grandchildren Eric, Sam & Avery; numerous nieces & nephews, friends.
