Donald Lee Stewart, Sr., 89, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on February 26, 2025.
Donald was born on January 4, 1937, to Jesse Leroy Stewart and Sylvia Marie Nichols. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Carol; his son, Donald Jr.; and five brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his children, Judith, Steve, and Scott; daughter-in-law, Tina; stepchildren, James Bradley and Karla; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
Donald was a gentle, quiet man who deeply loved his wife. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos, caring for his beloved kitty, Bubbles, and being outdoors, especially fishing at the lake.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
