Donna Caraway

Donna Caraway, 86, Raytown, passed away peacefully at her home December 9,2025.

She was born March 22, 1939 to Harold and Ilene Morlan in Lincoln Nebraska. Donna moved to Kansas City Mo when she was a young girl, where she grew up. It was there she met her husband Jerry Caraway when she was 14. She attended East High and married Jerry at 18 on April 12 1957.

Donna worked in the office at Klines Department store, then stayed home to raise her children. She loved cooking and baking and would help out at her daughters school during the many events held during the school year. Always throwing parties for her daughters birthdays. Mom loved family get-togethers and was always planning something Donna and her husband Jerry enjoyed going to the Sedalia fair and went from the time the kids were small until just a few years ago. They also took many trips to Bagnell Dam, Springfield and Warsaw. The lake and Sedalia area were their favorite places to visit. She also enjoyed going to the casino to celebrate every occasion with the family. Mom loved the buffet and playing slots.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ilene, daughter Sherri, Sisters Pat and Shirley.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Jerry, daughter Vicki (Ray), grandson Jerry, granddaughter Autumn, sister Darlene, nephew Tom, Niece Terry, son in law Bob and many other Nieces and nephews.

She was very much loved and will be missed so much.
