Douglas Jackson, 70, of Olathe, Kansas passed away October 17, 2022. He was born June 14, 1952 to Dr. Victor and Willie (Marie) Jackson in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Medical Technology, then returned to Pittsburg State graduating in 1992 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Medical Technologist until his retirement in 2017. Doug and his wife, Debbie moved from the Kansas City area in 2005 to Cape Coral, Florida, where they enjoyed boating to Ft. Myers, Sanibel Island and other barrier islands in the area. They returned to the Kansas City area in August 2022.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Debra (Debbie); sons Jesse Jackson and Christopher Jackson; brother Steven Jackson; sisters Tana Hoye and Michele Aldwir; along with six grandchildren Rachel, Genicey, Cade, Nirvana, Ethan and Hailey Jackson.
