Douglas Whitcraft

Doug Whitcraft, 63, of La Cygne, Kansas, entered Heaven’s gates on the evening of Sunday, January 16, 2022, while in the Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas with his loving family by his side having attained the age of sixty-three.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m., in the Living Proof Church, located at 32401 Harmony Rd. in Paola, Kansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapel, Richland.

Doug leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Susie Whitcraft of the home; 4 children, Krista and Shad Edwards of Dadeville, MO, Jeriah and Amory Whitcraft of Spring Hill, KS; Caleb and Molly Whitcraft of Paola, KS, and Anna “Annie” and Adam Oursbourn of Richland, MO; his 5 beloved grandchildren, the apple of their grandfather’s eye, Alexa, Haylee, Hagan, Ashton, and Jacob; Later in life, Doug was blessed with bonus children. Those include Karrie  and Jared Oxford and Tylor  and Katie Hermanson; three brothers: Donald Whitcraft of El Reno, OK, David Whitcraft of Ashville, NC, and Dean Whitcraft of Neosho, MO; two sisters Donice Parker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Debbie Morrow of Virginia Beach, VA; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for memorial contributions be made In Memory of Coach Doug Whitcraft, to THE LIVING PROOF CHURCH for The GOOD NEWS SCHOLORSHIP FUND and may be given to or mailed directly to The Living Proof Church at 32401 Harmony Rd., Paola, Kansas 66071.
