Dylan, was born in Overland Park, KS on September 7, 1991. After graduating from Raymore-Peculiar High School in 2010, his love of the outdoors led him to several vocations in construction, concrete and landscaping. He was currently working as a fork lift operator at the time of his passing. Dylan is often described by his friends and loved ones as being fiercely loyal and generous with both his time and resources. He often used humor to cheer up those around him and you could always count on his signature smirk following his often goofy humor. Family was of the utmost importance to him and he looked for opportunities to spend time with his family whom he loved to prank and play jokes on; especially his mother. At the end of the day, he loved his family and friends and constantly looked for ways to be of service to others. Dylan was a devoted and loving father and spent as much time as possible with his son, Ryan, who was his whole world, as well as a doting uncle to his nieces. He was looking forward to his son joining Cub Scouts and was excited to share his love and knowledge of the outdoors with him. Dylan loved life and lived it to the fullest, never shying away from challenges or adventure.
He was preceded in death by: paternal grandparents, JoAnne (Rich) and Joseph V. Burton; aunt, Patricia Jackson; and maternal grandfather, Harold L. Ladd.
Dylan is survived by: parents, Vicki L. Burton of the home and Michael J. Burton, both of Raymore; sister, Paige Jungman (Derek); nieces, Kinley and Kylin Jungman, Peculiar; adored son, Ryan Michael Burton and love of his life, Nicole Schleper of Kansas City.
