Earl Sanford Daughenbaugh, 59, of Columbia passed away at his home Tuesday July 3, 2007 surrounded by his close friends and family. Sanford was born September 27, 1947, the third of seven children in Boone County, to Earl S. and Erma Ruth Butler Daughenbaugh. He worked hard all of his life and enjoyed a successful career as a sheet rock finisher and was a retired member of local union 1185.
Graveside services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Columbia Cemetery.
Survivors include companion Kim Kennedy, sister Wilma Grassle of St. Louis, brother Jim Daughenbaugh and wife Shirley of Centralia, sister Ruby Hendren and husband David of Columbia, sister-in-law Esther Daughenbaugh of Centralia, along with several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and brothers, David, Bill, Mike and brother-in-law Richard Grassle.
Ruby, this is really late, but you and your family are in my prayers! I love you and I miss you terribly!
Rest in peace *Jay*…..You are gone but won’t be forgotten.
