Betty, as I knew her, lived across the street from me for several years, in Lexington, Missouri. I was 7 years her senior and when the Days moved in, she was like a little sister. She was always at my house, following me everywhere……making cookies with me. I was the typical teenager and she was just a little kid. When she requested me as a friend on FB, I didn’t recognize the name, so I ignored the request. But she persisted, finally letting me know, that she was my former neighbor, Betty Day! I was so shocked to hear of her death. My most sincere condolences to you, her family, as I cannot imagine how much you will miss her.
All the best to all of you as you try to get through this most difficult time. Sincerely, Jamie Morello
Betty was one of my best friends when we we young. My grandmother lived next door to Betty and family on Highland Avenue in Lexington and we spent hours playing Barbies together. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Betty was a childhood friend of mine. We were in Brownies & girl scouts together. Sending ? ? ?
