Elizabeth spent the majority of her childhood in York, South Carolina, and her adult life in Hampton, South Carolina, and Augusta, Georgia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher, dedicating over 25 years as an elementary school teacher in the Richmond County School District in Augusta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Herring; her daughter, Ann Davis; her sister, Ann Trotter; and her parents. She is survived by her son, William Herring, and his wife, Suzanne, of Green Cove Springs, Florida; her grandson, Marcus Oellerich, and his wife, Sara, of Barnett, Missouri; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Eleanor, and Adeline Oellerich. She is also survived by her brother, Blackie Williamson, and his wife, Jackie, of Greenville, South Carolina.
Elizabeth’s family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
So sorry for your loss. Elizabeth was a special lady. Think of all the childrens lives she touched. You are in my prayers today.
I am sad for your loss. You all will be in mine and John’s prayers. I pray God will fill your thoughts with time spent through the years that you can recall as blessed.
