Elizabeth Josephine Landoll

Elizabeth Josephine Landoll, affectionately known as “Jo,” passed away at her family lake house on August 30, 2024, at the age of 79. Jo was born on November 28, 1944, in Monett, Missouri and graduated from Monett High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She brought joy and happiness to everyone she met.

On March 7, 1976, Jo married the love of her life, Allen Landoll, and they made their home in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked for many years at Farmland Industries in IT support, where her dedication and hard work were greatly valued by her colleagues. Jo retired from her career to enjoy her passions and spend more time with her loved ones.

Jo was known for her love of quilting, cooking, and hosting family gatherings. She had a special talent for baking treats, which she lovingly shared with family and friends. She had many recipes she taught to her grandchildren that will be passed down to generations to come. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious aromas of her cooking. Jo also enjoyed playing games, which brought joy and connection to those around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Allen Landoll; her children, Bruce Moriondo (Stacey Moriondo), and Kelli Moriondo; and her cherished grandchildren, Kameron Trask, Olivia Trask, Lily Moriondo, Gillian Murphy, and Kyla Murphy. Jo is also survived by her brothers, John Donnini (Connie Shackleford) and Tom Donnini (Regina Fitzgerald), who will forever remember her as a loving sister. She also has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jo was predeceased by her parents, Amy Young and John Donnini, and her brother, Michael Donnini. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Jo’s life will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society in Raytown, MO on September 20th between 2pm and 4pm and at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on September 28th at 1 pm. .

    Jo was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family and would absolutely do anything required to secure their happiness. She was someone I looked forward to seeing and talking to at gymnastics meets especially. She was always smiling and had such a great attitude.
    She will be missed greatly. ❤️💔
