Erma Jean Johansen, 85, Pleasant Valley, Missouri passed away February 18, 2018. A visitation will be held 12:00 -1:00 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.
Erma was born May 15, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a member of Buckner Restoration Branch of Church of Jesus Christ. Erma will be remembered for intellectual sense of humor, love of reading and her love of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Johansen. Survivors include; son & daughter in law, Rick & Mary Johansen, Harrisonville, Missouri; daughter & son in law, Diane & Steve Petifurd, Pleasant Valley, Missouri; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a sister, Carmetta Sevy, Harrisonville, Missouri
I treasure being able to view this precious group of pictures depicting beautiful Jean and those she loved and cared about. I can’t ever remember being greeted by Jean with anything other than that sweet smile. May she rest in peace, knowing how much she was loved by all and honored by her daughter Diane!
