Fred Waldron, 85, Lee’s Summit, Mo passed away July 29, 2016 at home. A visitation will be held from 6-7 pm followed by a service at 7 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to The American Cancer Society or International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation, 6144 Clark Center Ave., Sarasota, FL 34238.
Frederick Waldron was born March 9, 1931 in Tarkio, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Pearl Waldron, brother Warren Waldron, sisters Mary Monson and Ruth Hartstack.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Karen, children; Mike (Rebecca) Waldron of Kansas City, Mo, Kevin (Jackie) Waldron of Olathe, KS, Jason (Kimberly) Gober of Kansas City, Mo and Amy Gober of Pleasant Hill, Mo, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was a marketing manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years, and he served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and spending time golfing, hunting and bowling.
Sorry for your loss. Fred was always a friendly and kind person to work with.
