Gerd Lucie Webb

Gerd (Lucie) Webb, 71, of Kansas City, MO passed away 12/27/2014 at the KC Hospice House from Cancer.

Lucie was born 10/16/1943 in Oslo Norway, during the Nazi Occupation. She came to the United States in Oct of 1963. She worked for 3 different local hospitals, all which were in the same buildings for 35 years. Her work started as a Nurses Aid, then over 25 years in Respiratory Therapy and the remaining years in Medical Records. She will dearly be missed by all her friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her 1st husband Don Rouchka and 2nd husband Oliver (Ollie) and son Adam Rouchka and granddaughter Maggie.

She asked for no service or memorial, just donations to the KC Hospice House or Cancer Foundations.

I want to thank the KC Hospice House, for they made the last week of her life comfortable and pain free. There are not enough words to say how much that meant to her and her loved ones

Ollie, you have our deepest sympathy. We loved Lucie dearly and always enjoyed both of you as company. Working with Lucie for 20 years and having her as a daily lunch partner was always a delight, not to mention many laughs and tears. She will be sorely missed.

My heart goes out to Lucy’s family. I had the pleasure of working side by side with her and can honestly say she was a beautifully unique and caring person. How many old ladies do you know that can keep a teenager from getting bored working in medical records?? 😉 She was very cool and will never be forgotten. We miss you, Lucy.
