My thoughts and prayers are with Gerry’s family and friends and all that knew and loved him in this sad time. Gerry was a good friend of mine. We haven’t seen each other for a while because we were so far apart but we chatted often with Facebook and Messenger. Gerry would often send me songs and music he thought I would like. And would also send me pictures of different guitars he had acquired. Years back when he still played steel guitar he had came out several times and played with my band. We had so much fun when he and Marty Guenther and I would just all get to play together. I remember one night I was playing a fast rock tune and Gerry was getting into it and actually pushed his seat back and jumped up and was playing his steel standing up and acting like Jerry Lee Lewis really getting into it! He was just so much fun. I will miss him so much as will so many others. Farewell my dear friend and you Rest In Peace until we meet again. ???????
