Glenn Charles Keener

Glenn C. Keener, 71, Henrico, VA passed away suddenly in Kansas City, Mo on January 1, 2016. No services are planned at this time. He grew up in Cameron, Mo and attended Cameron High School. He joined the Navy in 1962, and was later honorable discharged. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, and mother Pauline Dice.  He is survived by a brother Robert Snedden and Wife Ruth of Lawson, Mo, a sister Kay Battaile and husband Ellis of Richmond, Va, and several nieces and nephews.

    I am grateful for the life of Mr. Keener. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

    Glenn Keener was my Uncle, my mother’s (Kay Battaile) brother. He was loved and will certainly be missed. He was a very good man and loved the Lord. He is now in a better place. We will see him again.
